I met Pete when he first started dating my sister Christine and we became fast friends. He liked to joke around and anyone who knows me knows that's my cup of tea! Pete and I hung out alot over the years and we would call one another when we were stressed and needed someone to vent to as well as grab a brew. He was like a brother to me through my most difficult life experience in 1999 when my best friend passed away unexpectantly. We called each other anytime one of use needed to speak to someone as I was closer to him then my own brother. I was fortunate to have Pete in my life and spent alot of time with him over the years but as we all experience life sometimes takes us in diferent directions. I am glad, proud and happy to have met you Pete and I consider you my brother from a different mother. Rest in peace my friend...

The first time I met Peter was in 6th grade at Log College Jr. High school. We sat next to each other in class and noticed how tall and cute he was . We became good friends and I always admired his art work. He would doodle in class and then show me.He had major talent, even then as young as he was.What I remember most about Peter was that he respected women, and even when I hung out with him in high school, he still was as cute as he always was and very well liked by all. He had a kind warm heart and great spirit. He will be missed

Lydia, Melitta, Fred, Eric & Earl sorry for your loss of Peter he was a good friend of mine. And lost contact with him when I went into the service and got marry. I’ve tried to find him on Facebook and seen Ronnie’s post that Pete was doing badly was fortunate enough to see him before he past. Because of my work schedule and work load I ‘am unable to attend Pete’s memorial service. God bless you all in my thoughts. And Eric I rember King of the hill and fought in a battle.

In the late 60s early 70s there was a gang war between the Parkers and the Hutters.Me,being so young,was not allowed out due to the violence.I can remember the bloodied faces with thier galvanized trash can lids as shields walking past our yard as if it were yesterday.Only to find out in recent years that these defeated warriors had fallen to two couragous combatants.These two had taken refuge at the "Pump House".The pump house was a in ground fresh water holding tank and pumped water to the residence of Lacy Park.On the top of this tank was a large concrete slab.Here they had armed themselfs with dozens of glass bottles and,as thier enemies climbed this hill to overtake them,were met with shattered glass off the concrete and into thier faces. "Awsome" The one,I'm sorry, I cannot remember the name but the other my big brother Pete-King of the hill. Love Ya Man,your little brother Eric
